How to care for tattoos at More Tattoo?
To ensure your tattoo is always sharp and durable, proper care is very important during the recovery process. At More Tattoo, we provide detailed care instructions to help you maintain a beautiful and safe tattoo:
- Keep the tattoo clean
After the tattoo, we will apply a protective patch for you. After 3 days, remove it and gently wash the area with warm water. Finally, dry it with a towel.
- Apply moisturizer
After cleansing, apply a special moisturizer for tattoos (at More, we always give our customers moisturizer) to keep the skin moist and support the healing process. Do this twice a day until the skin is completely healed.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to water
In the first 2 weeks, limit prolonged exposure to water, such as swimming, bathing or soaking in water. However, you can still take a quick shower but avoid letting water splash directly on the tattoo.
- Do not pick at the scab
During the healing process, the tattoo will begin to form scabs. To avoid damaging the tattoo, you should not pick at the scabs or peel off the skin. Let them fall off naturally when the skin has healed.
- Avoid sunlight
In the first 4-6 weeks, limit direct exposure to sunlight. When going out, use a sunscreen with a high SPF to protect the tattoo from UV rays, helping the color last longer.
- Wear comfortable clothing
Avoid wearing tight or hard clothing that can rub against the tattoo and irritate the skin. Choose soft, breathable clothing to help the tattoo heal easily.
- Do not use irritating products
Avoid using lotions that contain strong fragrances, alcohol, or harsh detergents to avoid irritating the skin. Use only products that have been recommended for tattoo care.
